About Maureen Dunn

Maureen received her J.D. degree from the Washington College of Law, the American University.  She is  admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and to practice federal immigration law.  In law school, she worked as a legal assistant for Maggio & Kattar, PC and afterwards worked 30 years in the federal government adjudicating asylum applications, deciding immigration appeals at the Board of Immigration Appeals, leading the Unaccompanied Children's program at the Office of Refugee Resettlement, and directing policy on humanitarian visas at the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.  She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the D.C. Bar Association. Maureen has lived in South and Central America and speaks Spanish fluently.
